Moonlight Movies, the city’s outdoor classic movie series, returns to the Peace Center Amphitheatre May 4 with a showing of the 1991 comedy “Father of the Bride.” The series runs through the month of May, with a different classic movie shown each Wednesday evening.

This year’s offerings also include “Batman”—the 1966 version with Adam West as the Caped Crusader—and the Western “Winchester,” with Jimmy Stewart and Stephen McNally. In addition, fans can vote for the classic movie to be shown on the final evening of the series (click here to vote). Choices include “Babe,” “The Country Girl” and “The Rookie.”

Lawn chairs, blankets and picnics are welcome at the events, but pets and tobacco are not. Anyone consuming alcohol will need to purchase a $1 wristband. Movies begin at sundown (roughly 8 p.m.) each Wednesday, but get there early to secure a good spot.
